Description: Winter seasonal with persimmon, ginger, and cinnamon. Inspired by Korean traditional winter drink sujeonggwa.
On tap at the brewery in Gwangan.
Pours Amber with a little bit of haze. Thin white head that dissipates quickly. Moderate lacing.
Smell is like a holiday candle. Ginger, cinnamon, citrus, and pine. It legitimately smells like a Yankee Candle.
Taste is fantastic. All the flavors listed in the description in perfect balance. Sweet at first with a hint of spice at the end. I love winter warmers and this is a totally unique and totally delicious one.
Mouthfeel is medium body with high carbonation.
Overall: This is the first beer I’ve had from a Korean brewery that is at the same time uniquely Korean and straight up delicious. Flawless and creative execution.
