We took our Imperia Belgian Ale and decided to add a little something extra to celebrate the season. Fresh Ontario peaches picked up on a road trip to the Niagara Peninsula, along with two types of vanilla, and two types of cinnamon made their way into the tank.
Pours hazy orange with an off white head. The aroma starts with cinnamon mixing with the Belgian yeast, contributing warm spice and citrus, peaches sit below the surface and vanilla rounds everything out nicely.
The flavour starts out cinnamon and vanilla, moving to a sweet peach and crackery malt character before ending on a spice note. Soft and coating in the mouth, this beer was designed as a transition between Summer and Fall.
