Drinking this a bit old picked up back Early December at the Vintage Estate in Ohio. Carbonation is kind of scary almost like a soda so I was thinking from the smell is going to be a total sugar bomb but no its actually quite balanced. Orange rind, piney spruce and caramel sweetness greet my tongue. The bubbly brew makes for a body lighter than expected almost more than most nitro beers I had as of late and gives it a slight twang of ethanol a bit of sharpness on the palate.

Canned on 10/01 its far from going bad maybe I am drinking this late but some compared it to Great Lakes which I can't see that beer is more honey sweet with its orange and spice maybe I am getting that too or the spirit of resonated Christmas.

Got as part of a trade with some friends. Already had a heavy beer tonight, this is my afterparty. Poured out deep dark amber, the color of dark honey. Minimal head clings in a ring around the circumference of the glass. The smell is wonderful, like a Christmas tree, it's got pine and spruce, orange and lemon zest, lots of spices, almost cider like, it's like a potpurri, very pleasing and one of the best smells of the holiday ales I've tried this year. The taste is bitter with a dry finish, boy this is just like drinking the scent of a Christmas tree, pine and spruce are so strong and mulled spices round out the flavor. Quite surprising and rather pleasing I must add. Mouthfeel is highly carbonated and thin, gives a lively taste to it. Overall this is a pleasing beer that really knows how to get me in the mood for some festivities. It's cold outside but it's warm in here with Yuletide. I think this brew is a success.

This was delicious, the look wasn't super special but thats the least important stat. All the typical spices but amped up in a super flavorful way. I honestly think this tastes better than Great Lakes.

L: Nice caramel color to it. Glossy. Foamy.

S: Like a strong ale, a little spice, reminds me of gingerbread

T: Good hop bitterness to go with all the bready notes, not too sweet, the spices are moderate but present.

F: Clean finish, It's like drinking a christmas cookie.

O: Royal Docks is an outstanding brewery.

This was the December 15th beer from the advent pack I bought from my local beer store just around the corner. It poured a clear amber with no head and no lace. The scent had bold ginger notes with subtle pine and cinnamon highlights. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with strong cinnamon and ginger base with a pine resin finish. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer but was too much for me to have more than one.

12 ounce can, canned on 10.08.20. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a somewhat hazy reddish/amber color with about a half inch light tan head that stayed around for a bit. There's a decent amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like ginger, cinnamon, pine, clove and nutmeg. Taste is pretty much like the aroma, but there's also some rosemary and bready malt flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy and coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this holiday ale, worth a try if you come across some!

Smells of cinnamon and cardamom. Spicy and well balanced flavors. Although the cardamom is more overpowering than I like. Although I still very much enjoy this beer. Quintessential holiday Ohio beer, just really wished I had made a cinnamon sugar rim for this!

Royal Docks Yuletide, an amber spiced beer that tastes of clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, and what nobody else is picking up is anis. A truly delicious and easy drinking ale at 8.5 ABV. Here in the land of X-mas ales, north east Ohio, I truly enjoy the "Yuletide" season.

Yuletide brewed by Royal Docks Brewing Company, with an ABV 8.50% This spiced brew pours out and nice deep amber color with a nice small white head. Really liking the copper color of this brew. There is some nice spotty lacing to this brew, it sticks to the side of the glass well. The smell is rich with spices, grains, and malts. You pick up on cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. This brew reminds me of Christmas. Between the look and smell this is one inviting brew. Now for the taste, is is bold with flavors. You first pick up on spices and grains and malts. You also pick up a touch of hop bitterness in the taste as well. There is a lot going on in Yuletide. I can't get over how smooth this brew goes down, it is really hard to pick up on the 8.50% ABV. I think the spices are what does it for this brew. The body is a nice medium to heavy feel, but not to heavy. There is nothing overpowering about this brew, it has a super nice balance to. The mouth feel of Yuletide is Spicy, Bold, Clean, Smooth and Refreshing. Overall I'm going to give Yuletide a 4.50 out of 5. I would definitely look this brew up again giving the opportunity to. Royal Docks Brewing Company, did a real nice job with this brew.

Reddish orange with a soft tan head
Smell: Cinnamon, orange zest, nutmeg, more cinnamon, clove
Taste: Toasty, warm, much like the smell. As another review said, pinecone. Sweet.
Feel: Moderate mouthfeel, a bit slick. Smooth going down.
Overall: Very unique holiday beer. The more I think about it, the more pinecone I get... this makes it more unique. I would get again.

Canned on 10/12/17. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours amber; small off-white head that quickly fades leaving no retention or lacing. The aromas are spice forward. It smells like a gingerbread cookie along with some pine cones. It has a woodsy vibe going on. Malts are there. I'm personally not crazy about the flavors. It has an odd aftertaste. The unique spice profile smells better than it tastes, in my opinion. Ginger, spruce, cinnamon, and nutmeg lead the way. Some floral notes. Hints of caramel. Malts are there, but aren't dominant. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's kind of thin.

This is an okay brew. I like how it has a unique spice profile, but it's a little rough around the edges. I'm personally not crazy about it, but it's fitting for the holiday season. It becomes more enjoyable the more you get into it.

Yuletide | Royal Docks Brewing Company. Poured from the can into a pint glass, the head's three fingers thick and light tan, with spotty lacing, and a deep reddish amber body.

I smell your average "holiday spices" used for these winter seasonals.

Tastes like spruce, nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, and cardamon. The higher ABV is well-secluded with a clean finish.

Medium mouthfeel with mild carbonation.

Overall, I'll rate Yuletide | Royal Docks Brewing Company with a 4.25
