Daemonium presents innocently. Dressed in the pale colours of a far lesser brew, she beckons the unsuspecting close with beguiling aromas and puckish, tingling bubbles. At first furtive sip, however, the ruse it up and the trap is sprung. Too late they see their blunder. Too late they witness the pleasant golden maiden stripped to reveal the ancient face of the demon waiting; its true strength laid bare. Its claws grabbing. Its teeth bared and gnashing.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This excellent BSPA
pours a chill hazed golden with a nice head of white foam that
settles to a thick ring, thin wafting layer, and sports some subtle
lacing. Nose shows elements of candy sugars, subtle herbal
notes, faint pineapple, apple, and sweet honey malts.
Flavors pack the punch with subtle grain notes against a
bombardment of honey and Belgian candy sugars with
apple and light breaded notes with some white raisin
touches in there for good measure. Nice mouth feel;
medium body, smooth, sweet, light effervescent
carbonation is both soft and prickly with the booze,
and finishing sweet and faintly dry with vinous touches.

Overall, a nice new brew to me and one worth
trying for the greater community----excellent
intro to the Belgian side of life done right in America!

Cheers!

Daemonium | Royal Docks Brewing Company. Poured from the can into a snifter, this possesses a two finger thick head, spotty lacing, and a deep gold body.

I smell a nice use of Belgian yeasts with sweet caramel notes.

Tastes like the aforementioned along with candied dark fruits. Subtle, yet noticeably spicy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel is between medium and heavy with mild carbonation.

I'll go ahead and rate Daemonium | Royal Docks Brewing Company with an overall 4.25

Daemonium brewed by Royal Docks Brewing Company, with an ABV of 8.00% This Belgium Strong Ale pours out of a 12oz glass into a pint beer glass, a nice golden amber color. This brew has a nice thick white head with lots of lacing, the lacing sticks really well to the glass. The smell is rich with grains , malts an lots of sweetness. You also pick up some nice hop bitterness, in the smell as well. Now for the taste , it is rich with sweetness, an nice grains and malts. This is a nice smooth drinking brew, really enjoyable. It is really hard to pick up on the 8.00% ABV in this brew, it is just that smooth. The fruit sweetness is a nice touch, to this brew. There is nothing overpowering about this brew, it has a super nice balance to it. This brew would go nice with dinner, or a cool night. The mouth feel is Bold Rich, Clean, Smooth, Clean and Refreshing. Overall I'm going to give Daemonium a 4.50 our of 5. I would definitely look this brew up again giving the opportunity to. Royal Docks Brewing Company, did a super nice job with this brew.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/7/2018. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lemon, orange, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red apple, white grape/wine, peppercorn, light banana/clove, cracker, white bread dough, light honey/candi sugar, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt/sugar, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red apple, white grape/wine, peppercorn, light banana/clove, cracker, white bread dough, light honey/candi sugar, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/floral/grassy bitterness and peppery yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red apple, white grape/wine, peppercorn, light banana/clove, cracker, white bread dough, light honey/candi sugar, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt/sugar, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and spicy yeast/alcohol. Medium-plus carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Lightly increasing warmth of 9.1%, with mild lingering booze after the finish. Overall this is an excellent Belgian strong pale ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt/sugar, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the big ABV, with the mildly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Very well rounded Belgian yeast complexity with balanced Pils malts/sugars, and solid earthy hop presence. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

This is a very odd brew for the style. It looks and smells pretty normal, but the taste takes on a fruity sweetness that isn't subtle. From where this comes is unknown, but it is a big part of the experience.

As I said, it pours pretty normally and the aroma is clean but normal. The taste is anything but normal. That big fruity sweetness is overwhelming. Perhaps the inbalance is partly due to the low hop profile.

Not recommended. It's an odd take on the style.

This brewery is just 15 min away and they have a great food menu, with gourmet flatbread varieties that are quite enjoyable. I work at a local health food store and just picked this up when it arrived over the weekend.

Poured from a can dated 5.07.18. Today is 5.27.18, into a tall hefeweizen Paulaner glass.

Look: Frothy head and sticks around for several minutes. Lacks lacing, moderate carbonation. Head dissipates to a film on top.
Smell: Very good. Bananas, cloves, two dimensional, really, but very pronounced and inviting.
Taste: Bananas, cloves? Hard to detect the alcohol.
Feel: Great medium body, moderate carbonation is presently welcoming. Syrupy and smooth. The warmer it gets the better it is. The alcohol is warm and not easy to recognize. Be careful. Still bubbly.

Says to serve at 42 degrees, but its almost room temp and it's more delicious than a minute ago. Drink local. Drink fresh.
