From the 12 oz can in a snifter. I think this may have come from
Bluejacket but am unsure, certain it came from our visit to Columbus
though. This Solid milk stout pours a dark brownish black with cola
highlights and a nice layer of foam that settles to a thick ring, dusty
layer, and shows some very nice lacing. Nose of cherry, vanilla, and dark
sweet malts with cream notes. Flavors exceed the nose with a dark
chocolate and vanilla cream drenched cherry with subtle coffee and
subtle char with nicely roasted dark malts. Very nice mouth feel; medium
full body, smooth, rich, medium light carbonation that supplies some
nice lift, and a sweet verging on cloying but still maintaining balance
finish.
Overall, a SOLID sweet milk stout.
Cheers
