The pour a clear amber color, head is adequate, as is the lace, both light tan in color. A sweet somewhat fruity nose with malts also present, clean and fresh. Start sweetly malt, top is waterish, sparingly carbonated, hops are present, but just barely, dry aftertaste. A drinkable beer, as are most from this brewer, but nothing to write home about.

The label gives the impression that its an I.P.A. Amber color, clear, head is medium bubbled and a flat 1/4 inch after 30 seconds, but retains well. Flavor is malty with hints of vanilla. Very poor hop performance, not bitter, not grapefruit, not floral. No tang, a slight acidity in the stomach. Tastes OK but jeez, a lot of these Berger brews taste very similar.

cloudy copper colored ale...little head to speak of. strong earthy/grassy hop smell. taste is of roasted caramel malts and spicy german hops. full bodied and satisfying. not exciting, but my no means bad. solid if unspectacular.

Amber color, small short head. Aroma primarily malt with very little hop qualities. Taste carries more hop qualities from start to finish, but very light in taste overall. Some blending of malt in flavor, with a quick dry finish. Fair amount of carbonation gives a fuller mouth feel. Just not enough flavor overall.

I expected this to be pretty well hopped (sounded like someplace in India, maybe I need to dig out my old geography book). Turned out to be very subdued and mildly hopped, but it was a nice, smooth and drinkable ale.
