Refreshing hybrid of ale and lager inspired by the fine Kölsch brewing tradition of Cologne. Noble hops, lager malts, and gentle carbonation makes the beer super drinkable; perfect if you want a few or one, just to wet the whistle!

Can. Misty straw with a wispy head.
A herbal note to the smell with straw like qualities that resonates into the flavour. Blackberry fruit?
Light body with a vibrant carbonation.
Pretty good for a style I have limited knowledge about.

L- Mid gold, slightly hazy, pours with a 2-finger white head.
S- Mild with a possible hint of fruit - ?
T- No fruit. Quite hoppy-dry (especially into the finish) with sufficient malts to balance. The hops are certainly of the more trad variety, ie no bonkers tropical fruit flavours going on here.
F- Clean, bright and refreshing, well balanced.
O- Very pleasant, well put together and a good refresher on a hot day.
Bought from Bacchanalia, Mill Road, Cambridge. £2.29 330ml can BB: July-2022
