It boasts malt flavors of graham crackers, and sweet and dark caramel with hints of fig, vanilla and burnt sugar. The malt is complimented by a spice mixture of fresh ginger and cinnamon, 500 lbs. of pumpkin, mace, Jamaican all spice berries, annatto seeds and coriander. Then, if that wasn't enough, we aged this delicious Imperial Ale on french oak chips and fresh vanilla beans. Beware.

On tap at New York Beer Project in Victor, NY.
This one pours a dark-ish muddled brown color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells sweetly malty, vaguely spiced, with some caramel.
This is decent, ish, as New York Beer Project beers go, but it doesn’t quite all meld together. This might be better if it was barrel aged – that could have reigned in the spicing, there’s a lot of nutmeg or allspice, or something like that. There’s some caramel and breadiness, too.
This is medium bodied, but feels slightly watery on the finish, perhaps.
There’s not much to recommend here – it’s better than some of this brewery’s drivel, but it’s not super memorable.

Served on tap in a snifter
Appearance - The beer is served a dark burnt orange color with a small head of foam. The head fades fast leaving a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell- The aroma is huge of a super toasted and roasted pumpkin smell mixed with pumpkin seeds and a decent showing of dough. Along with these smells comes a strong cinnamon and nutmeg smell mixed with a bit of clove and coriander. There are some light vanilla, oak, and cream rounding it all out, and with a bit of bread, it produces a mild pumpkin pie like smell.
Taste - The taste is heavy of a toasted pumpkin smell mixed with some molasses and brown sugar. The sweet is lighter, In comparison to the pumpkin and the spice of cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg that are there. As the taste advances the sweet sugary flavors fade, nut are replaced by some vanilla and oak. With a touch of booze, one is left with a calm but warming pumpkin taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - The body was moderate in thickness and carbonation. Decently easy drinking overall and apporiate.
Overall - A decent pumpkin for sure and well worth a try.
