Travel to Bavaria without the hefty airfare! Our award winning Oktoberfest Marzen took home "Best In Show" at the East Coast Raise A Glass Foundation Competition in 2016. Copper colored, clear with notes of bready toast and caramel- this seasonal favorite pairs well with pretzels, German bologna sandwiches, and singing Ein Prosit!

On tap at New York Beer Project in Victor, NY.

This one pours a slightly murky golden brown color, with small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells generically malty sweet, with no typical marzen character, no breadiness, no nothing.

NYBP is not exactly a favorite of mine, and this take on one of my favorite styles is not exactly going to change this. It’s just malty sweet, caramelly, and uninteresting – like so many poor American attempts at the style.

This is a bit too thick for the style, but still finishes thin, and too sweet.

This is highly and completely forgettable.

This must be about six months in my beer fridge. Pours golden rich copper with a fluffy head that clings to the glass. So, I don’t know anything but aroma and taste is sweet and malty. It’s really good. Is it true to style, how do I know? Very enjoyable. I like that as a lager it’s very flavorful and a nice beer for a 50 degree day, whether October or March ! Prost!

Draft pour into a taster glass.
Orange copper clear appearance with very little sparse white collar of head. Biscuit, yeast, taffy notes. Light mouthfeel and carbonation.
