Taste: woody barrel notes, boozy, beet juice, maybe honey, unique. Malty oak wood nose. Deep mahogany hue, clear,, tan head with nice ring of lace. Medium full body. 47 IBUs

I've got the barrel-aged version of this, slightly stronger ABV. Markedly vegetal and I'm not digging it. I like the concept and am happy to try these brews. Look is a murky red, smell is slightly sweet. Overall worth a try for novelty.

I hate beets, yet loved this beet DIPA. go figure
