Ok, I'm in the minority onnthis one, so someone else **please** counter my thoughts, if warranted. I'm hoping my experience was an anomaly:
Pours a nice dark body, off white head, some lacing.
Nose is buttery to butterscotch and a decent amount of chocolate. I don't make that statement lightly, but it's what I get.
The bitterness is lacking for a black IPA, more of a roasty chocolate porter. Even then, I get a brown toast with butter note mixed with that chocolate roasted malt note.
I tried a little to find other reviews, mainly saw the lack of bitterness. A weird experience, hoping I have an off experience from others, and will give this another go given the chance.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
