From the 12 oz can in a snifter via a friend from work---Cheers Randy!
This porter pours a dark brown with a moderate head of khaki foam that settles to
a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some faint lacing. Nose of toasted malts,
light herbal hops, subtle toffee, and dark bread crust. Flavors follow the nose with
a more pronounce herbal bitter hop dashed with dark chocolate, bread crust,
light toffee, and light roast. Mouth feel is medium, light carbonation, and finishing
lightly bitter with malt and hops end in a somewhat thin body.
Cheers

I tried a pint of this off the tapper at The Fickle Peach bar in Muncie, Indiana. It poured an opaque dark with khaki head that did not leave any lace. The scent had subtle chocolate and roast notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet chocolate malt base with toffee and roast presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was an great beer.
