The appearance was a nice looking dark brown close to black color with a film of a little white foamy head that slid off at a mild pace. Barely any lace, but seemed somewhat filmy and sliding.
The aroma had a nice blend of sweet milk and dark chocolate up front and then a little bit of a bitterness from the dark chocolate portion coming in slightly to fill the balance of it all.
The flavor was a nice sturdy sweet side up front and then followed through on the bitterness for a mild balance. Aftertaste leaned into the sweetness of the milk chocolate with a little bit of toast.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation was on par. ABV felt appropriate. Exceptionally smooth sweet milk chocolate finish.
Overall, as a milk/sweet stout this definitely fits the bill. I'd have again.
