From the brewery website - Backstop Bock features a rich malt profile that is on the sweeter side, with layers of toast and nut, in addition to chocolate and a subtle sweet stone fruit character. Just enough bitterness to balance the heavy malt bill, without adding any noticeable hop character. The aroma is strongly of sweet malt, and while the body is on the fuller side, the finish is still crisp and smooth.
