First off, this beer looks terrible. It's like someone canned a muddy grapefruit juice cocktail. But once I get past that, it's pretty solid! It certainly delivers on its premise. The nose is a bit confusing, as the bitter, juicy hops (I'm guessing citra but can't find information) interact with the raspberry flavor and tartness to give the impression of pink grapefruit. The vanilla is also detectable, along with some malty sweetness from the oats. The flavor profile still has juicy citrus notes, but they are now more distinct from the raspberry, which comes through clearly but not overpoweringly. A full body and a short but sweet finish keeps me going back for another sip.
