M Special has a great location with indoor and outdoor seating, a couple of games you can play (corn hole, etc) and a great selection of their beer on tap. Everyone here is friendly and laid back. Definitely a great chill spot if you're in the Santa Barbara area.

The Farmhouse ale is a must very true to its style. Very fragrant (clove,anise,citrus) and mildly earthy. Good beer to drink during summer.

I was able to stop by the brewery on my way home from a weekend trip with friends to Paso Robles. I'm a beer guy myself so this was a refreshing stop for me.
The building looks very new, and the outdoor patio with the ocean breeze flowing through was perfect to lounge around and enjoy a couple beers. Should the sun ever be too much, they had table umbrellas that can pop up to provide shade, or one can simply sit at the bar.
Speaking of the beers, they had their core beers and a handful of seasonal selections on draft. I sampled four or so, and my friend had their Saison which I took a couple sips from. Every beer I sampled I thought was an exemplary reflection of the style they were serving. From the nutty, malty brown ale to the resiny, hop-forward double ipa, it was all on point. The Saison was my favorite--All Time Special. I'd recommend to anyone. Ended up picking up a couple bottles!
What they did, they did very well. I look forward to going back sometime.
