Bottle poured into a tulip, the appearance was a nice looking clean muddy brown color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Some stringy sliding lace ran underneath.
The aroma had some sweet to sour black cherries up front, then some green apple, lightly dosed by some lemongrass and then a bit of hay/barnyard mustiness just before the acidic portion shows up to solidly pummel the lemongrass and hay/barnyard mustiness.
The flavor was roughly sour with the sweetness from the black cherries trying to make a good play for the balance. Nice level tart to sour aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it as the sour did make a good play for the pucker factor, wanted to be distracting. Carbonation felt fine along my tongue. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, really nice American Wild ale worthy of having again.

A little muddled brownish red, with a wonderful acidic and fruity aroma. Taste follows but even better with a nice pucker but not overwhelming and plenty of malt backbone to compliment the fruitness and acidity. Feel is relatively light, tart, and pretty easy to drink. Overall, I enjoyed this offering quite a bit from this beautifully located brew pub. Cheers!
