Tried on tap at Libertine Pub in Morro Bay, CA
Pour - Pours smooth, slight fizz on the top from the carbonation, no head
Look- Nice pink color towards the top that fades into a very pretty orange red color.
Smell- You can get the smell of the wild yeast characteristics, hints of wine at the nose, nothing there that reminds you of the Kiwi.
Taste- At first you get that initial bit of sour that fades into a carbonated fresh fruit wine flavor, you can really taste the characteristics of the wine not so much Kiwi...a bit disappointed with that but not a deal breaker at all!
Feel- Smooth carbonation, easy to drink, very light and smooth on the palate
Overall- This is a very creative beer from Libertine Pub and Casa Dumetz Wine. LP always shines when making these sour beers, for those who enjoy wine, the wine grapes really shine in this one, its a great crossover in the flavor aspect of it, glad I tried it and grabbed some bottles
