This beer had a very cool look--big head with dark brown opaque body. Smell was decent but didn't get much out of it beyond the sourness (i.e., the blood orange that was supposed to define this beer was missing). The blood orange shone through after a sip, but it fell off toward the back of the mouth as the sourness took over. Much like how many IPAs are hoppy just to be hoppy, this wild ale was sour just to be sour and masked rather than bolstered the extra flavors. The bubbles were a bit too crisp and small, so the beer felt more like a soda than an ale. Overall cool idea but not my cup of tea.
