Bartender was very friendly and we got to have a very nice conversation with the head brewer, which is a definite plus when visiting any brewery.

Stopped here on the way to the Palace to see Iron Maiden. Of the 7 or 8 places we went to this was by far our favorite place. Everything we had was solid.

What a pleasant surprise! Would highly recommend, f you are anywhere near Detroit. Beautifully brewed & clean beer in an airy and artistic space; industrial elements present but not overwhelming.

Been here only once. Just opened summer 2015. In a small strip mall (few shops on either side of it), but inside looks and feels nothing like it. High ceilings, fermenters, other brewing equipment, bags of grain, etc are viewable from anywhere in the bar. Traditional bar seating with square, rectangle and looks like picnic type tables scattered about. Somewhat rustic looking. Blues/jazz were playing and the few tv's were off, a plus for me. Nice vibe. Waiter was very attentive & knowledgeable. Offered samplings without asking. Nice selection of beers on tap representing a wide variety of styles, very nice. All beers are $6 and are served in the correct glassware for the style. Had the hefe & Belgian Tripel & both were spot on. Hope to try the Imperial Stout & Strong Scottish Ale next. No food offered but you can bring in food or on the back of the menu order from the place a few doors down. I'll be back.
