Enlightened Brewing Company

this place is fantastic, a perhaps somewhat slightly hidden gem in the impressive milwaukee scene, at least from my initial impressions. its a big space, warehouse vibes but made to feel like a huge living room, sort of black stack vibes from minnesota, old furniture, house plants, gaming tables, making it feel like home even though its enormous, nice natural light too coming in through big windows. mellow vibes here really relaxed. they have a long bar running the length of the place almost and the brew house there in plain sight too. i was impressed with their beer list, some real clever ipa types, a pecan pie inspired stout, a nice belgian strong, and a clean and drinkable cream ale that we drank through, among many others we didnt, a truly diverse beer list. the service was friendly and low key, the space makes a great hang, and really the quality of the beer overall was very good, and it was fun too, without being gimmicky, a great line to walk. i loved the capital t tasty, the ipa with mango an tajin was interesting too, and it seems like the quality is there across the board. could have spent the whole afternoon, and would suggest adding this place to your list if you are doing the milwaukee brewery circuit!
