The brewery calls this a "New Zealand Style IPA." I had it on draught at the brewery. Pint pour served in a snulip glass. It pours a hazy, bright golden-orange color with a creamy, milk white head and abundant soapy lacing. It's highly effervescent. Its nose features tropical fruit - kiwi and melon, along with lemon and lime and lite floral hops. The taste opens dry and slightly bitter with mostly tart citrus but at mid-palate there's a burst of tropical fruit, along with a touch of vanilla cream sweetness. But it finishes dry and quite bitter. It's very flavorful. The feel is lite and crisp with lively carbonation. Its 7.2% ABV gives it good substance but a second pour is not an issue. Overall, this is a fine offering. The tropical fruit is really flavorful. This is a prime candidate for canning.
