Brewed in the traditional Märzen style, with elegant, clean, toasty and bready malt flavors. Minimal bitterness and a dry finish.

On draught at the brewery. Served in a pint glass. It pours a hazy, bright pumpkin orange color with a small, ecru-colored head and thin film of lacing. The smell features caramel and earthy, nutty, dark bread notes, as well as a whiff of chocolate. The taste opens with a lot of sweetness. There is caramel and cocoa, along with toasted brown bread. There are also spice notes at the finish but very little bitterness. It finishes very clean. It has a pleasing mouth feel with moderate carbonation, and it's bigger than most Märzens with an ABV of 6.9%. Overall, I enjoyed this Fall offering. While it's a bit sweeter than I prefer, it packs a lot of flavor and has considerable substance.
