On draught on the opening day of the brewery's outdoor biergarten. It wasn't served from a standard tap system so it's somewhat warmer than usual. It was served in a 10 oz. plastic cup (required due to COVID-19 rules). It pours a cloudy, dirty orange with brown hues and it has a modest, creamy, milk-white head and lacing. The nose is highly floral with subtle orange notes which become more noticeable as the glass warms. The taste opens like the base Blonde Ale with mostly grains, lemon peel, and spices, but as I swish it in my mouth I get a dose of tart orange. There is a background of biscuit and virtually no hop bitterness. What I like best about this ale is its mouth feel: it's medium-bodied and surprisingly creamy for its 5.6% ABV. It has a pleasant level of carbonation and is very drinkable. Overall, this is a tasty summer beer and was really enjoyable outdoors on a hot, sunny afternoon. Nicely done!
