A rich and nutty, malt-forward, Scottish-inspired ale with just the right amount of smooth. This clean traditional style has a sweet finish with hints of graham cracker.

Pint on draught at the brewery. It pours a pretty, orange-brown color with a half finger of creamy, ecru-colored head and spotty lacing. The nose offers caramel, roasted malt, some burnt peat and just a whiff of tobacco smoke. The taste opens with a nice balance of caramel malt and smoky, bitter, earthy peat. I cannot tell how it's hopped but there is a nice bite at the finish. This ale is crisp and lite with a pleasant level of carbonation and with an ABV of 6.2% it's very easy to drink. Overall, this Scotch Ale definitely improves as the glass warms so don't drink it too fast It's a very nice rendition of the style and I applaud Two Ton for brewing it.
