Our base brown ale is smooth and roasty with big round malt flavors. This batch was finished with molasses and ginger, cinnamon and clove, just like the family gingerbread recipe.

Pint pour on draught at the brewery. Served in a shaker glass. It pours a hazy, dark iced tea color with a modest, khaki-colored cap and lacing. It smells of sweet malt and gingerbread spicing, including clove and cinnamon. The taste opens with a strong malty base and notes of molasses, cinnamon, and clove. For a holiday offering it's not overly sweet but does a nice job of simulating gingerbread. It finishes with a nice dose of spice and subtle bitterness. It's well carbonated, lite, and very drinkable with a manageable ABV of 6.1% Overall, this variant of Two Ton's revolving Brown Ales is tasty and enjoyable - especially during Christmas season. I especially like the use of molasses, which Two Ton does very well.
