A - Pours a midnight black with a fizzy dark brown head. The head dissipates into a thin ring leaving some light soapy lacing,
S - Aroma is maple, dark chocolate and bourbon.
T - The taste is maple, dark chocolate, vanilla, roasted malts, oak and bourbon.
M - Medium body with medium carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel with a soft dry finish.
O - This is a killer DBA stout. The maple adds a nice sweetness to the base stout. Really well done.

It was hard to rate fairly in the crowed tap room. However, this beer is pretty solid. Thick and full bodied. Roasted malt, with notes of dark chocolate, bourbon and maple. Seemed a little thinner than most of the other Ellison stouts.
