A little bit of gold and amber colors in this one, doesn't form too much of a head, maybe 1/5" white. Aroma lacked hops. Some earthen barley, golden promise situation in the nose, toffee.
Taste was woefully missing hops, even for an English ipa. Very mild. Seems like just gimmicky artwork instead of substantive brew. Expensive format, would not repeat.

Dark gold to amber appearance. Little to no head. Aroma was a almost that of a wheat ale.
Taste, nothing like any ipa I've had, even an English ipa. Tasted more like a session mild with aspects of a session scotch ale. Hops were almost non existant. I'd guess the ibus to be in the 20ish range, more akin to any other style than advertised.
Don't think I'd spend $5 on this again.

Strange beer i think, i don't think the flavours quite blended, slight creamy sweetness at the start (didn't like), malty slightly peaty middle, slightly hop bitter finish, and a bit light in body and flavour.

According to the bottle, it was an IPA style. It was well-hopped, but had a very heavy body. Coming from a Scottish brewery, seemed to have a lot of Scottish ale qualities, sort of a hybrid. A good beer nontheless, just a little odd.
