Perfect belgian witbier. Drink so easy, I think it's the best summer beer.

Pours muddy opaque yellow beer with huge white head, leaving a lace ring. Very fizzy. Charming aroma of citrus and coriander with yeast notes. Taste is a bit sour and spicy – lemon and coriander once more. Moderate carbonation and wheat malts in the aftertaste. Eventually, it’s an average witbier.

Bought at Belgian beer museum in August 2011. Bottle has a lot of Cyrillic letters and, I think, a late April 2013 consume-by date. Poured into jelly-jar tumbler, a ghostly white that became a cloudy straw, maybe spring-honey-colored liquid, under rapidly rising and dissipating snow-white suds. A bit of sawdusty lees snuck in at the end. Very correct appearance. Pleasantly yeasty with some herby clovey corianderish aroma. More coriander in the mouth. Very wheaty, like a breakfast food. Dry! A hint of apricot or something, like toast with just the merest residue of a tart apricot jam on it, then a quick swipe of bitter. I thought it would be chewy as the crust of that toast, but more cleansing.

330ml bottle. Found this on my trip to Moscow, Russia. I was very surprised to see that no one has reviewed this!
A - Looks like an archetypical wit: Cloudy yellow body, some carbonation, fluffy white head.
S - The aroma was pretty typical as well. Very yeasty, to the point of smelling flowery, with a hint of citrus and coriander.
T - Although the bottle suggested I serve it at 2-3 degrees C, I discovered that this beer actually tastes better if it's a bit warmer than that. I usually classify witbiers as either "spicy" or "citrusy", and this beer is definitely the second (which I liked). Some coriander and orange peel are present, but the flavour profile mostly consists of yeast, lemon and orange notes. The after-taste is slightly sweet, yet a bit tartю
M - Light-to-medium body to it. At first it was very carbonated, but by the end I was getting a very smooth and almost creamy texture to the beer. Very pleasant on the palate and extremely drinkable.
O - I'm quite happy and satisfied with this beer. It's definitely a good example of the style. It is refreshing, smooth and fruity!
