Deep gold color with a small white head. Clarity isn't where it should be for a Kölsch, I've gotten better results from lagering my Kölsch homebrew.
The aroma pops with white wine, apple, and grapes. Fruit carries over to the flavor but leaves it a little too sweet. I was missing that dryness at the end of the finish that many of the best examples of the style have. Medium bodied and it felt a little heavy for the style too.
All in all, there is a lot of promise here and with a few tweaks it could turn out to be a mighty good Kölsch. It's a delicate style and this one felt a little on the heavy side. Just needs some refinement.
