DATE: June 29, 2023... OCCASION: crafting the annual lake house mix and basking in the joy that Mansfield's Bottle King is now carrying a bevy of GF DS products--including this one! GLASSWARE: lager... pours an eruption of white, clumpy thickness that settles quickly into a roiling ring of off-white bubbles... its body is working overtime with effervescence... lime, wet straw, garden hose Saaz ping, and light lemon zest... light, almost apologetic aroma... its body is equally agreeable, soft and smooth, with a bit of energy at the teeth... more watery than substantial, but it refreshes in this regard... lemon, grass, soft herbs, lime, corn, and a bit of saltiness that makes this slightly nuanced... as a GF lager goes, it falls a bit short of Omission's deceased GR offering, but this does present enough flavor and attitude to garner attention. It's price point is also a bit high given its utility, but brewers gotta eat too...
