DATE: November 26, 2023... OCCASION: Christmas decorations (mostly) in place and basketball season off to a decent start, it's time to relax with another DS offering... GLASSWARE: Otto's pint.... this pours a murky burnt sienna with only a few popping surface bubbles suggesting effervescence--not very beerlike... medium-bodied, livelier than it looked, with intense rattling at the teeth and a smooth finish... peach, light mango, tangy orange, honey, soft oats, and corn... the profile is bigger than expected, juicy and puckering enough to outsize its 6.4% ABV... a one-off from DS, so I won't get attached to it, but the sentiments are worth remembering....
