Draft at the taproom tonight.. Pours a slightly hazed light orange... sudsy white head... great lacing.. subtle strawberry with balanced yeasty esters/phenolic notes... Light clove/white pepper and underripe pear... Balsamic elements might be lost on me.. I love white balsamic, but am having a hard time picking it out.. Berry essence is a little ethereal.. not too heavy to seem artificial and also not imaginary, well done... Strawberry beers are tough to get right. Interesting layers of complexity on top of a pretty proper tripel. I would happily buy this one again.
