A hoppy English Old Ale that is amber colored with a malty sweetness and fruity esters that complement the late addition citrus hops.

Growler fill from Albertsons. Muddy copper body on the pour, thin airy beige head, streaky lacing. Brewery had it listed as an old ale. Malt dominates the aroma, but the heat is what gets noticed at first taste. True to its name, this is a warmer. The malts simmer in the background, very tasty stuff, plenty of warmth, and a snappy finish. Barbarian scores again!

Hazy light amber.. Would probably be a bit more appealing if the clarity was better.. Caramel and dry toast..some light cherry fruitiness.. Doesn't exactly hit home on a traditional Old Ale sense, but has good potential .. I would like to see this brewed again soon with a proper attention to the yeast and see what some age and cool barrel attention could do with it... Good beer with GREAT bones.
