16oz canned 10/17, cracked and poured murkily into a tumbler; hazy and frothy with an off-white head. Citra and Galaxy abound, tropical and juicy with a smooth, juicy body, light finish though a full body with moderate hoppy bitterness.

Alefort. Milky pale gold with high tight head. Aroma is light, citrus, fruit. Taste also, very light. Fruity. Incredibly light. Airy. But not much lingers.

another hazy ipa from these guys, tasty for sure, and with a rather unique hop profile, but not very well refined, milky and thick looking in the glass, pale as heck but i swear its almost green hued, heady and frothy and all, well made like a lot of their beers, but very much in need of some cleaning up, despite it tasting nice. there is a yeast element to this that you dont usually find in the style, not quite belgian, not quite funky, but very interesting and fully compatible with these juicy hops, which to me drip ripe stone fruit and melon, maybe a little spruce and herbal character too, dynamic and very fresh, but a weighty pint, even without visible particulate, it just feels heavy to me in the guts and almost makes me tired. if the carbonation wasnt this high, it would be rough. i get some passion fruit from the hops as it warms, a slight green banana thing too, and with the ester in here its unique in terms of flavor. i just dont love this mouthfeel for hazy beer, it seems sloppy and almost incomplete, but other than that its great, i especially like it having a little bitterness, which not enough of these do, it still drinks like ipa. i continue to like and be intrigued by barbarian, but its not usually their hoppy stuff that carries my stoke. this is good, unique, and more complex than most, but its also pretty raw...
