Crowler from brewery. Pour out clear, active carbonation , little to no head. Grainy, cereal aroma. Taste is much the same, bready, grainy, mild sweetness. Haven't had a good Belgian table beer in awhile.

a simple and drinkable beer, a belgian blonde seems to meet a clean saison here, with some mellow yeast esters, a springy lightness, and subtle citrus, coriander, grassy hops, and pink bubblegum flavors swirling around. not overly complex, but rustic enough to be appealing as an american take on an old world style. light golden in color with a good head on it, pure white, decent clarity, and a bright herbal aroma with things like white pepper and spicy noble hops coming out in the nose. clean flavor, some minerals, a light metallic thing, a faint anise ester, pineapple candy, and a light bitterness that balances whats left of the grain sugar. i think its a nice beer, pretty well refined, with the yeast driving the flavor but not taking over the rest of this, which is quite subtle. a nice belgian drinker, and while this is one of the least interesting and curious beers i have had from the very esoteric barbarian so far, i really like it pretty well, and could drink a fair few of them on a warm spring day like today...
