Draft-pour at the GC location; purplish/red, pink head, opaque, this is my kind of sour. Full of tart fruitiness and berries...juicy and creamy...blackberry, boysenberry, strawberry...raspberry...puckering, jammy, creamy, sour, smooth, sweet. Excellent!

a brett fermented golden sour with a whole heap of fruit, blackberries, boysenberries, strawberries, blueberries, plus spent clementine and pomegranate, from a previous brew! wow! its one of my favorites from them so far, and i really like what the brett adds, a wild funky balance to their usually high and somewhat monotonous acidity, the depth of the fermentation profile is much greater in this, but thats well behind the obviously intense fruit, which i really like. the color is melted purple crayon, and there isnt a whole lot of head on it, but the color saturation is maxed right out. aroma is awesome, puckery but also jammy with this much fruit, really dense, almost like it needs to be watered down somehow, maybe blended back with a lighter saison type, its all fruit, some tannins, and more of the blackberries than anything else, which is cool. i get just a bit of the citrus in the taste that plays well with the sour element here, and its cool with the berries too, you dont see enough of that fruit mixing in beer like this. the fruit really takes over, again led by the blackberry, there could me more grain to this, and the brett could be a lot more mature, but i like whats there from both of these aspects, and its hard to argue with all this natural vibrant fruit. lots of body, lots of acid, and not enough carbonation, i liked the flavor enough to have several of these for sure, but the feel wasnt there, needs to be lightened and livened both. overall though something a little more developed and advanced from these guys on the sour side, and i like this direction a lot! so much fruit.
