16oz crowler pour from the brewery poured into a tulip glass.
A: Clear gold body, effervescent with decent-sized white head...a little lacing left over on the glass as the head fades.
S: Vanilla, white chocolate and muted cinnamon/sugary spice on the nose...pretty spot on for the name.
T: White chocolate and vanilla, more cinnamon and sugar character here, there are waves of flavors that are identical with drinking Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal milk, other times when the biscuity malt character shines through and you know that you're drinking a beer.
MF: Fairly light body, typical of a 6% golden stout.
O: This is a fun one to try but didn't hold up as well as I drank the 16oz down. Not sure if it needs to be consumed colder/faster? The Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal character is there on both the nose and palate, Barbarian gets that right for sure, this just didn't quite live up to my expectations. Still totally worth trying.
