16oz can pours like an unfiltered IPA, maybe a skosh darker, with a small white head that fizzes away. Tart and fruity, this leans into the sour-ness of a beer of this style, but does maintain some perceivable salinity. Grapefruit, rindy, generic citrus fruit, tart lemon, wheat.

Taster pour at the brewery. Cloudy goldemn pour, effervescent head. tart citrusy aroma, grapefruit. Taste is fruity and tart, grapefruit, bodd orange with minor saltiness.

this is a little lighter overall than their mango tango gose i had in the same session there at the new spot, this is slightly more salty, slightly drier, less wheaty and full, and with less density from the fruit, more approachable, more gose than fruit beer, i think its quite good, although still not as well refined as it could be. grapefruit and blood orange in this one, acidic from the former, sweet from the latter, some obvious lemon to the lactic profile, but not exceedingly sour which is nice, less acid than the mango one anyway, and the salt sets in a little earlier, drying it out pretty fast on the back end, but probably still too fruity to be fully refreshing. a slight citrus candy thing, a hint of orange soda too, clean at the end, but i still taste some wheat in here which i like, and even though its more american than german, its both. slightly less carbonated than it could be, and just not as bright feeling overall as i want the style to be, im not sure the germans would approve, but its fun, playful, summery, and pretty consistent with what these guys are all about these days, seems like more fruity kettle sours than anything else, but still always such an impressive beer list in here...
