Lime In the Coconut

another especially tasty sour from barbarian, clever and with what seems like real ingredients, equal parts lime and coconut in this orange colored brew, very little head from the tap and maybe a touch less carbonated than would be ideal. but thats my only real critique, the rest of this is awesome. its piquant but not super acidic so drinkability is no problem at all. the nose hits with punchy zested lime up front and the sweet fleshy raw coconut in the middle, some light crystal malt in support keeping it beery, and a lemony lactic pucker on the back end that makes my mouth water and enhances the lime. the flavor has a nice subtle malt structure, a touch of sweetness and nutty flavor which are nice with the acidity in this. the lime is bold up front, the coconut marries in beautifully, and this has tropical cocktail vibes all over it. the lime is real clean, the coconut very authentic, and even though both are robustly dosed, it works great. one of my favorite of their recent sours, this really stands out. definite high summer drink, feels like vacation to me! i hope they keep this around...
