a fine beer, a little american to me in the execution, lacking some of the fermentation complexity the best of these have, this is estery at the end and a touch soapy, but its not dynamic, it kind of all comes at once and it lingers a little funny, but i do think this is well made, the grain is lovely, its delicate and soft feeling, well carbonated and very drinkable, pleasant and springy, perfect for the season, and great to see some more recognizable styles on the board in here this time. a pretty pour, only very lightly cloudy, pils type color here, creamy near inch of lasting white head, prickly carbonation, looks light as these go, not a ton of starchy dense looking wheaty weight to this, pretty clean looking really. the nose has hints of white grape and white pepper, lemon detergent, lemongrass, and a subtle almost sage type herbal character, its almost as belgian as it is german to me. the wheat is real pale but still has some almost nutty depth, lighter than most though, light peach as it warms. the flavor is unique, it comes in waves, the yeast is all at the end, right on the swallow and then on the recall, a little soapy, lightly spicy too, cooked orange and lemon peel, cooked banana too late, and a little white wine thing, the wheat is earlier, but this does almost have a pils malt note as well, dry and crackery like that, good flow and balance, but not quite what i was expecting here. i like it being so delicate, the ferment isnt quite there, but the overall quality of the beer definitely is. easy drinking as these go, nicely refined.

Draft at Barbarian GC. Cloudy yellow pour, dense foamy head, lacing. Aroma starts off right, notes of banana and bubblegum. Taste brings the banana up front, and then it fades away quickly, leaving not much behind. Feel has the right weight, but the flavor disappears
