Draft at Barbarian GC. Hazy golden pour, thin silky white head, some lacing. Tropical fruit aroma, pineapple stands out. Taste is citric, pineapple grapefruit, dry slightly acetic. Big burst of flavor initially, then I tapers off

this could easily be the best hoppy beer these guys have ever made, its certainly the best ive ever had from them, wow factor is really high in both aroma and flavor, its pungent and early starting and fruit forward, such high saturation but without the usual pitfalls that come with that, which makes me think hop products and lots of them, but could be thiol boosting yeast too, this is candy-like, crazy modern, and really distinctive, peachy and wildly delicious, krush in the lead but but some other hops in here too, just fabulous beer overall, if slightly thick and dense in texture, if its needed for flavor its worth it, if it were a tad lighter and easier down and just as robust it would be even better beer, but lets talk hop profile, because this creamy super hazy orange juice looking pint is a banger! immediate ripe yellow peach, orange hard candy, fresh cracked coconut on the beach, and backup fruitiness like green grapes, orange marmalade, and orange creamsicle, pretty amazing how punchy it is, how little greenness or bitterness there seems to be, and how radiant it really is, poppy and fresh for sure, ripe cantaloupe, pineapple, and juicy mango are also there, but peach and orange lead, and its all there in the taste, just a little starchy pale grain balance and support, more body and belly heft than it needs, but i do like the texture anyway, kind of whipped and fluffy, wheaty to me, it gets filling kind of only after it goes down, like its not to heavy in the mouth i guess, but its dense stuff and it kind of builds on itself, like the bottom of the glass is more fatiguing than it starts, but the hops, oh man, i get bellini and papaya and zested white grapefruit, i get grapey sativa and smashed lemon and lemongrass, strawberries and cream, so intense it seems almost perfumed, coconut again, kiwi and melon rind as it warms, some sweetness carrying the fruit but its so appealing, so well proportioned, and grainy enough to still drink like beer. really impressive hop complexion here, for anyone who still thinks they dont like ipa, this could be your gateway, its that distinctive and good, low bitterness, and for me downright memorable. lovely! their hoppy stuff has been trending way up here, adored this!
