From the 650 ml. bottle. Sampled on January 18, 2016.
The pour is dark brown with a lingering tan head. It is a nice looking beer.
The aroma has a little bit of dark roasted malts but not a chocolate or coffee character like you might think of when drinking a stout. Not much in the way of hops.
Light to medium body.
The taste seemed a little off and it could have been my bottle. There was a vague milk chocolate character but the buttery funk tended to overwhelm at the end. It seems likl it was not quite ready for prime time. A little tweaking and it could be a nice one.
