The aroma is predominantly blackberry, with a undertone of earthy notes and a bit of sour funk. Pours a nearly opaque amber with a blue tint and a large (but rapidly fading) white head. Mild tart acidity to start with, fading to a mild blackberry finish. Light bodied, with a high level of carbonation. A bit subdued on the sour side for my tastes, but not a bad gateway into the style.

From the 22 oz bottle, it pours a hazy darkish amber with a modest head. Lots of yeast afloatin'... Definite blackberry in the nose...and mouth. Just enough sour to make you smack your lips.. Yum!
