From the 650 ml. bottle with no date shown but my nest guess is it was released August 2017. Sampled on August 27, 2017.
The pour is a very murky, milky looking copper-amber with a quick fizzy head that disappears quickly. But this is so opaque.
The first sensation I get on the nose is green apples and a tart zesty overripe fruit character. The 10% alcohol shows up a little in the background. Bready malts.
The body is decently smooth and better than medium. Chewy even.
The taste comes across as tart and sour like a Wild Ale but the brewery calls it a Triple IPA. I get a feint breadiness but the sour grapes and white wine notes seem to overtake everything. An odd overripe fruit bitterness to end.
