Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a sturdy looking dark apricot to light hues of purple in it. Carbonation could be seen rising at a rapid pace. Once again, just like the other beer I had of theirs, their heads don't seem to want to stick around for the party. With that in mind, lace is fairly non-existent.
The aroma had some tart berry sharpness, apple cider vinegar, green apple, and a whiff of clean malts ending with a mild cherry sweetness.
The flavor was pretty much spot on to the aroma, sweet, tart and sour running into each other pretty nice. Mild aftertaste of the berry.
The mouthfeel was sharp and acidic with a punchy tart berry pucker aspect. I'd say this one was a sipper due to the strength of the pucker. Carbonation was felt. Mild berry finish.
Overall, it's pretty strong in the pucker department. Acidity level is a bit more to be expected. I didn't mind for me, but I could see a ton of people not liking this one.
