355ml can, the next iteration of Blindman's hoppy kettle sour series, this time made with the Azacca and Ella varietals.
This beer pours a very hazy and effervescent pale golden straw colour, with three fingers of puffy, rocky, and somewhat bubbly eggshell white head, which leaves some rocky outcropping lace around the glass as it lazily subsides.
It smells of muddled domestic citrus rind, a gentle lactic sourness, grainy and crackery malt, a small chalky flintiness, and some very tame earthy and floral green hop bitters. The taste is more understated spoiled milk acerbity, some mixed citrus and melon fruitiness, wet stones, a hint of musty yeastiness, and more weak leafy, earthy, and floral verdant hoppiness.
The carbonation is fairly active in its palate-coating frothiness, the body an adequate medium weight, and generally smooth, with a wee airy creaminess struggling to gain some altitude here. It finishes trending dry, the sourness and fading fruity essences turning as such.
Overall, this is another agreeable enough and easy-drinking version of the style, with nothing all that complex or complicated going on, which is absolutely fine. Once again, very worthy of checking out, especially if you're new to this whole sour brew thing.

Tasty, extremely quaffable beer. This is very much on par and in keeping with Blindman's sour series. This version's hop combination (Azacca & Ella - both new to me) helps mute anything wild or weird in the overall flavor profile.
