500 ml bottle - split two ways. Hazy pale golden yellow with three fingers of foamy bubbly white head.
Aroma yeasty, peppery spice, banana, apple, clove, slight bubblegum, and grassy/floral notes.
Taste follows - spicy bready yeast, banana, clove, some peppery spiciness, with hints of booziness.
Actively carbonated - medium full bodied - lingering spicy yeastiness - slightly tart, fruity finish with slightly boozy burn at back.

Appearance - Pours a light amber with four fingers of bubbly and foamy white head.

Smell - belgian yeast, clove, pepper, banana, spicy earthy and floral hops, fruity esters, and biscuity malts.

Taste - belgian yeast upfront. The clove, pepper, banana, fruity esters, and spicy earthy and floral hops come through next. The biscuity malts finish the brew off.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Finishes off dry with the belgian yeast and fruity esters lingering.

Overall - An enjoyable tripel from the folks at Blindman. They have created a highly drinkable brew that displays the malts, yeast, and fruity esters very well. Cheers Blindman and continue experimenting!

500ml bottle - Blindman's third anniversary offering, wherein they continue their practice of producing a strong Belgian-style brew for the occasion.

This beer pours a slightly hazy, medium golden yellow colour, with three fingers of puffy, rocky, and mildly fizzy eggshell white head, which leaves a few instances of cannonball splash aftermath lace around the glass as it slowly dissipates.

It smells of gritty and grainy cereal malt, some phenolic yeastiness, an apple-forward mixed fruit bowl, a tame earthy spiciness, and some plain leafy, musty, and soused-up floral hop bitters. The taste is grainy and bready pale malt, some banana and pome fruitiness, estery yeast, a hint of coriander spice, and more understated earthy, herbal, and floral green hoppiness.

The carbonation is average in its palate-coating frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and mostly smooth, with just a touch of yeast astringency perhaps not playing nice with the neighbourhood kids here. It finishes trending dry, the Alberta malt kind of stealing the lingering show.

Overall - well, they've got yet another winner on their hands, as this is a style of which I have never been particularly fond, but I'm certainly enjoying what I have in front of me! Malty and frooty, with barely any sign of the near 9 points of ABV. Congratulations, guys, and Happy Anniversary!
