355ml can - apparently there's an unofficial style of beer called 'Florida Weisse'. Let me see if I can guess why.
This beer pours a mostly clear, medium salmon amber colour, with two fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and mildly bubbly pale pink head, which leaves very little in the way of lace around the glass as it quickly sinks away.
It smells of gritty and grainy cereal malt, a lesser toasty wheatiness, some mixed dark fruity notes, a hard water flintiness, and very tame earthy, musty, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is grainy and crackery pale malt, wet Wheat Thins, a still muddled dark berry fruitiness, some damp minerality, and more well-understated leafy, herbal, and musty hoppiness.
The carbonation is adequate in its palate-coddling frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and generally smooth, with a wee airy creaminess evolving as things warm up a tad around here. It finishes off-dry, the frooty character exhibiting the most lingering gusto.
Overall - yup, I suppose a Florida Weisse makes sense, as it removes the need to add aftermarket syrups to cut the sourness. Lazy Americans. Anyways, Blindman's version is quite good, refreshing and easy enough to put back. Worth seeking out.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
