A world in balance.
Work vs. play. Wild vs. controlled. Thinking vs. feeling.
And with this foeder-aged Amber lager: the old world and the new world.
Modern equipment, recipe design, and ingredients. Paired with the time-lost process of long maturations in beautiful, air-dried white oak foeders. Showing the balance between the true craftsmanship of 1140 board feet of finger-jointed wood staves and the true science of our brewing lab. Allowing us to reinterpret revered classics without hewing to traditionalist nonsense. Giving us the freedom to strive for a simple truth: "whatever serves the beer best".
Something well executed, well lagered and, well, delicious.

Clear reddish amber pour with 2 fingers off white head.
Aroma grainy malt, caramel, toffee, hint of chocolate , oak, slightly roasty with notes of toast.
Tastes of caramel malt sweetness, oak, mildly smoky, roasty with touch of earthy hop bitterness that builds as warms.
Smooth medium mouthfeel - subdued carbonation, bit of lingering oaky earthy bittersweetness.
Very decent and drinkable though not quite to standard of the prior Foedered Lager.
